Celebrating the Jewish High Holy Days with young children is often a challenge for their parents.  The desire to provide a worship experience within the grasp of the child is hard to find.  Realizing this, Congregation B’nai Jeshurun is holds Rosh Hashanah Family Services on Rosh Hashanah morning at 8:45 am, Thursday September 29th.

Members of the community are invited to attend with their children; tickets of admission are not required.  Two concurrent services will be held.  One service is intended for children who read, guided by an age-appropriate prayerbook.  The second service is for the youngest children, exposing them to the basic components and prayers of Rosh Hashanah in a simpler manner.

Children and families attending either service will have the opportunity to hear the blowing of the shofar, which is one of the highlights of the Rosh Hashanah service.
