Borough Council Honors Madison H.S. Field Hockey Team

MADISON, NJ - The Madison High School varsity field hockey team was recognized at Monday night's Borough Council meeting for winning the Morris County and NJSC Independence Division championships.

Madison finished the 2013 season with a 21-1 record, winning 20 matches in a row before losing to state power Shore Regional on Nov. 12.

Elizabeth Turnbull led the Dodgers with 25 goals and Michelle Montagna scored 22 goals.

Katie Battaglia led the team in assists with 15. Goalie Caroline Fassett made 50 saves and posted 16 shutouts.
