HAWTHORNE, NJ - The Borough of Hawthorne announced that residents who own dogs have until January 31, 2020, to renew their dog licenses with the Hawthorne Board of Health.  According to the Borough website, the fee for a spayed or neutered dog is $15 and $18 for those which are not.  A late fee of $15 applies to those renewals after the January 31 deadline.

Renewals are dependent on rabies vaccinations being valid until November 1, 2020.

Cat owners have a little more time, with cat licenses due May 31 at a cost of $8, subject to a $10 late fee.
