HAWTHORNE, NJ - The Boys and Girls Club in Hawthorne has opened again, with limitations in place and new health and safety protocols designed to protect staff and children.  The club recently produced two videos, demonstrating their new drop off and pick up procedures, demonstrating some of the new changes.

The staff members at the Boys and Girls Club wear masks or face shields and each has to have a temperature reading before starting the work day.  Parents and children likewise have their temperature taken before entering the facility and follow an outdoor pathway to ensure social distancing is in effect.  Once a child passes the health screening, a staff member escorts him or her to start their day's activities.
