SCOTCH PLAINS/FANWOOD, NJ -- The Raiders host No. 5 North Hunterdon on Monday, Nov. 5 at 2:00 p.m. in the NJSIAA State Tournament's North 2, Group 4 Bracket. Scotch Plains-Fanwood boasts a record of 19-0-2 record (including the shootout loss to Westfield in the Union County championship game, which is officially recorded as a tie).

Scotch Plains-Fanwood defeated No. 16 Franklin, 5-0, and No. 8 Plainfield, 2-0, to advance to the tournament's third round. North Hunterdon beat No. 12 East Orange, 2-0, and moved past Union in 3 OT to get to this stage. 

The Raiders have one of the state's top defensive midfields with the Ferrara twins (Alex and Michael) and Owen Murphy clamping down on attackers. Zidan Abdella has 16 goals to lead the team, followed by Jonathan Koseoglu with 10, and Rock Valian and Thomas Rodriguez with 8. Danny Coyle has been solid in goal with 33 saves.
