WEST ORANGE, NJ -- The West Orange boys tennis team salvaged the day by defeating Bloomfield, 5-0, in the consolation round of the Essex County Tournament on Tuesday.

The Mountaineers (3-6) had lost, 3-2, to Columbia in the first round of the ECT before facing--and upsetting--Bloomfield (7-5) later in the day.
