BRIDGEWATER, NJ – The Bridgewater Creative Arts Committee (BCAC) has released a Call for Entries to the residents of Bridgewater Township for the second season of its Talent in the Town exhibition to be held this fall at “The Halls” in the Bridgewater Township Municipal Building.
The annual exhibit is a showcase of both the visual and performing arts designed to celebrate the talents of its residents, regardless of skill level, age or background.
“Talent in the Town has grown each year and this year’s exhibition offers an inviting venue for our talented artist residents,” said Stephanie Moench, chair of the BCAC.
The opening reception on Oct. 20 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. will showcase the performance artists of the community, while the visual art aspect of the exhibit will hang in “The Halls” through Nov. 19.
As a result of community feedback from past exhibits, BCAC will introduce a virtual exhibit. Moench has also indicated that, “we are looking into ways where we can showcase solo artists.”
BCAC is a volunteer committee appointed by the Bridgewater Township Council to support and promote creative arts in the Township. It is the goal of BCAC to recognize creative efforts and encourage higher levels of achievement by providing to the Ttwnship residents a venue for exhibiting artwork and diverse resources that nurture the mind and spirit of both the artist and the viewer.
