Bridgewater Police Seek Information About Thefts, Vandalism

BRIDGEWATER, NJ - Bridgewater Township Police are seeking information on thefts and acts of vandalism around the township on Aug. 9 and Aug. 10.

According to police reports, between 3 a.m. and 8 a.m. Aug. 9, someone threw a large piece of asphalt thorough the rear window of a Mazda 6 while the vehicle was parked in the parking lot of America's Best Value Inn on Route 22 West.

The damage was valued at about $300.

Also on Aug. 9, between 2:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m., a Loft Farm resident reported that someone burglarized their home. According to the report, jewelry and other items were stolen.

Finally, on Aug. 10, between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m., someone attempted to gain entry into a home on Dartmouth Avenue. The police report said someone tried to gain access to the house through a rear window.

Anyone with information about any of these incidents is being asked to call Bridgewater detectives at 908-725-6491.
