WARREN, NJ - Bikers for Brooke, friends of Stef and Steve Healey the parents of Brooke Healey, will be hosting BROOKETOBERFEST at The Somerset Hills Hotel in Warren on Oct. 26. The event is a celebration of Brooke Healey  of New Providence, the brave 5 year old who passed away September 9 after an 8 month battle with an inoperable brain tumor, and to promote awareness of Pediatric Brain Tumors and the lack of funding.

The event, running from 7:30 to 11:30 p.m.  will include appetizers, dinner, 4 hour open bar and live music by The Rental, Kosmic Day Dream and The Dirty. Tickets are $100 per person and can be bought at Elefante Music, Paolos Kitchen and Marion Deli or by emailing  All proceeds will go to Pediatric Brain Cancer Research. There are only 200 tickets to be sold.

In honor of Brooke and to promote research to cure Pediatric Brain Tumors, The Brooke Healey Foundation will likely hold 3 fundraisers a year. A golf outing, the Bikers for Brooke motorcycle run and Brooketoberfest which  will be the last major fundraiser of 2013.  "Brooke is still the miracle, throughout her journey, she has created bonds with people from all over the world. Love, support, compassion.. all the things that most people felt were missing in today's society, she brought forth in everyone she touched. Her legacy is and will always be that of love. That's a pretty amazing accomplishment for a 5 year old little girl"  Donato Curcio, cousin of Stef.
