CORAL SPRINGS, FL – Broward County released a stay-at-home order Thursday afternoon, asking residents to remain in their homes unless they need to go out to get food, go to work or have an emergency.

County Administrator Bertha Henry issued the “Shelter-in-Place” emergency order, which said: “Individuals are strongly urged to remain home other than to engage in essential activities.”

Daily outdoor exercise, though, is allowed for residents as long as social distancing guidelines are met, the order said.
