On 12/27/2013 a report of a smashed front door at Subway located at 901 Oak Tree Road, South Plainfield was reported by the security guard patrolling the area. Viewing the security camera footage revealed a white male, late teens-early 20's entering the store and emptying the cash register tray. The footage showed the actor moving boxes under the counter and exposing the stores safe. The actor slided the safe to the front door. The owner stated the stolen safe contained $240.00 in cash from the days sales. The owner stated he recently fired an employee for stealing money and the store had been burglarized twice prior.
