MORRIS PLAINS, NJ - Kelsey Burke and Melanie Muir each scored during a span of five minutes in the second half to power Chatham's 3-1 victory over Parsippany Hills in a Northwest Jersey Athletic Conference game played on Thursday.

Midway through the second half, Burke collected her own rebound and tucked it neatly beneath the Parsippany Hills keeper to put Chatham ahead, 2-1. Five minutes later, Muir beat two defenders and finished her effort to put the Lady Cougars ahead 3-1.
The Vikings pressed the last few minutes of the game, but Chatham's Morgan Maltby was more than up for the challenge, making a number of impressive stops to finish with 12 saves.
Chatham plays on the road again Monday against conference rival Morristown at 4 p.m.
