Burnet Hill Collects New PJs for Those in Need

LIVINGSTON, NJ - On Dec., 13, the students of Burnet Hill Elementary School rolled out of bed in their PJs and wore them to school for PJ Day. A bathrobe-clad Superintendent John Alfieri joined in the fun and read the students one of his favorite children’s books. Fifth graders cuddled with their kindergarten buddies at the event.

The children also donated over 300 pairs of new PJs to children in need, with the school’s Bobcat mascot leading the cheers as the Student Council wheeled inside four wagons overflowing with donations.

Scholastic will match The Pajama Program collection with new books.
