SUMMIT, NJ - Calvary Church will celebrate the legacy of St. Francis of Assisi by having a special liturgical service of “The Blessing of the Animals" September 29 beginning at 10:30.

No matter one’s religious affiliation, people and pets from around Summit are invited to this “Sacred Space” event.

All pets (leashed or caged) and their people are asked to gather in the Sanctuary for a special procession that will be orchestrated by our Master of Animals, Peter Huntley- Robertson.  The service will be held rain or shine.

After the service, all are welcome to share refreshments following the dedication of the Creation Garden.  For more information on these -- or other Calvary -- events visit www.calvarysummit.org or call (908) 277-1814.  Calvary Episcopal Church is located at 31 Woodland Ave.
