Candidates at the Sussex County Farm and Horse Show

AUGUSTA, NJ – The Sussex County Farm and Horse Show brought people from all over the state to enjoy the fun and food against the beautiful backdrop of rural North Jersey. 

On Thursday the Sussex County Democratic Committee tent was bustling with activity as Jersey City Mayor Steven M Fulop, District 11 candidate Mike Dunec and Sussex County Freeholder candidate Bill Weightman came to shake hands, brought together by Sussex County Democratic Committee chairman and Sparta resident Mike Busche. 

Also at the fair that day was US Congressman Scott Garrett of New Jersey’s fifth district.  The Republican represents communities in Bergan, Passaic, Sussex and Warren counties.  Parker Space, Republican Assemblyman was touring the fair, greeting people.

Sparta Police: Wantage Man Faces Drug Charges Following Traffic Stop

SPARTA, NJ – A Wantage man is facing drug charges after a traffic stop for an expired registration sticker.  According to Sparta police Shane Dedminicantanio was pulled over on Route 15 after he passed Sparta Cpl. Dan Elig and Police Officer Steve Guido on the Sparta Junction at 11:30 a.m. on December 4.

Sparta Police: Lafayette Woman Nearly Crashes into Police Car, Faces DWI Charges

SPARTA, NJ – A Lafayette woman is being charged with driving while intoxicated after crossing the double yellow line, nearly colliding with a Sparta police car.  On November 28, at 9:50 p.m. Cpl.
