Concerned Citizens of Union County is sponsoring a Candidates Night, to be held on Thursday, Sept. 12 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Scotch Hills Country Club on Jerusalem Road, Scotch Plains.
Concerned Citizens of Union County is a civic organization organized by Union County residents interested in issues related to Constitutionally-limited federal government, fiscal responsibility, freedom of personal choice and personal responsibility.
Candidates for the United States Senate seat for which the election will be held Oct. 16, 2013 have been invited, as have all candidates for the New Jersey State Assembly and State Senate for Legislative District 22 and the three candidates of each party running for Union County’s Board of Chosen Freeholders.
As of this time, some of the candidates for State Assembly and Senate as well as the Union County Board of Chosen Freeholders have accepted the group’s invitation and candidates will make a statement regarding themselves and/or their campaign and they will take questions from the floor.
