SPARTA, NJ-Mohawk Avenue School, home of the Sparta school district's kindergarten and pre-kindergarten student held a Career Day on Friday, June 6.  Guidance Counselor, Angelica Russo organized six community professionals to spend the day with the students demonstrating what it is  they do in their jobs.

Leslie Huhn is the school nurse.  She spoke to the students in her white lab coat and stethoscope. Students asked questions about what she has to do during the day at school and what she did as a nurse working in a large  hospital and how the two jobs compared.

Craig Wilson was easily identified as Chief of the Sparta Fire Department having brought a fire truck to school.  Students had many questions about the equipment on the truck.
