SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ - The Township of Scotch Plains’ Cultural Arts Committee will be sponsoring the final concert in the 2013 Summer Concert Series to be held at the Alan Augustine Village Green, adjacent to the municipal building, on Thursday, Aug. 29 at 7:30 p.m.
Carnaby Street is made up of Chris Roselle, Pete Bremy and Dino DiMartino. They are considered to be “living proof” that the music from the 1960s is timeless and still appeals to people of all ages.
The band has performed with well recognized acts like The Moody Blues, Rod Stewart, The Kinks, The Temptations, The Grass Roots, Gary Puckett and The Monkees.
“I think this is a fitting conclusion to our Summer Concert Series,” said Mayor Kevin Glover. “Let’s all enjoy the weather and the last days of summer – come on out with your family, bring a chair and enjoy a great band.”
