The Cattaraugus County Health Department confirmed four additional coronavirus cases Friday, a count that brings the county’s total to 107.

The 104th confirmed case is a female who lives in the southeast quadrant of the county, according to a press release issued by the department. The woman recently returned from a vacation in Florida. She has been asymptomatic after coming into direct contact with a known COVID-19 positive individual. She was tested for COVID-19 on July 2 and received a COVID-19 positive result on Thursday. 

The 105th confirmed case is a female who lives in the southeast quadrant of the county, according to the press release. The woman, who denies having significant travel history, developed a fever, cough and body aches after coming into direct contact with a known COVID-19 positive individual. She was tested for COVID-19 on Monday and received her positive result on Friday.

The 106th confirmed case is a male who lives in the southeast quadrant of the county, according to the press release. The man denies having significant travel history or direct contact with a known COVID-19 positive individual. The man, who has been asymptomatic, was tested for COVID-19 on Monday and received his positive result on Friday. 

The 107th confirmed case is a female who lives in the southwest quadrant of the county, according to the press release. The woman, who denies having a significant travel history, developed headaches after coming into direct contact with a known COVID-19 positive individual. She was tested for COVID-19 on Monday and received her positive result on Friday. 

The department has begun thorough contact tracing on the individuals. 

In the past seven days, the department confirmed 12 new cases of COVID-19. Since the pandemic began 91 county residents have recovered from the coronavirus, and four have died.
