NUTLEY, NJ - The Nutley Police Department reports that an individual was seen on Highfield Lane entering a motor vehicle and attempting to enter another vehicle on the same street. Some action was caught on camera.

On Sunday, police officers responded to the area after a report was received about a theft from a vehicle.

According to the police, the victim stated their neighbor saw a male individual enter their vehicle from the driver's door. He then left the vehicle and made his way to a vehicle in a neighboring driveway.

The witness reported that the male party was followed by a white four door vehicle as he was moving from driveway to driveway. 

It was also reported that the actor was scene attempting to open the door of another vehicle on the same street. In that situation, he did not gain entry as the vehicle was locked.

The actor who was entering, and attempting to enter vehicles is described as a "male party, slim build, gray hooded sweater, and dark sweatpants with a stripe down the leg."
