NUTLEY, NJ - Officers of the Nutley Police Department responded to a Wayne Place residence on Monday Jan. 18 following a report of a possible theft from a motor vehicle. 

According to the police report, the victim stated that their husband notified officers that someone had rummaged through their vehicle and the garage door was left open. 

Nutley being Nutley, activity was captured on a private camera showing a vehicle pulling up and parking on the west side of the street. A male party described as wearing a gray hoodie, dark pants, white sneakers, and gloves was seen rummaging through the vehicle and coming from the area of the garage.
