NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ - Betty Ann Kelly, Environmental Specialist for Union County Parks will be speaking at the League of Women Voters meeting on April 28 at 7:30 p.m at the New Providence Memorial Library (Conti Reading Room) located at 377 Elkwood Avenue, New Providence.
Her talk is entitled "Union County Parks...Taking a Walk on the Wild Side" The Union County Park System is made up of 36 parks totaling 6,768 acres and is home to many species of wildlife and a variety of different habitats. The audience will get an inside look at BioBlitz as well as what it takes to restore native shorelines and stream buffers.
