The Central Presbyterian Church Weekday Nursery School and Kindergarten has been a vital part of the Summit community since 1968. The nurturing atmosphere of the school encourages children to explore who they are. CPCWNSK’s experience-based curriculum challenges young, inquisitive minds and builds stronger physical, cognitive and social skills. This school teaches important values - respect for self, respect for others, and sharing ideas as well as possessions. CPCWNSK’s goal is to foster young learners into thoughtful and productive citizens of their hometown of Summit as well as the rest of the world.
This year, the CPC Parent Board is hosting its second annual fundraiser to benefit the many needs of the school. Funds raised go to support scholarships for the students, staff development and equipment for the school. The Spring Fling event will be held at the Beacon Hill Club on Saturday, May 3, 2014 for current CPC parents as well as alumnae parents of the school. There will be a silent auction with amazing items and numerous things one truly desires. The goal of this event is to help CPC continue to cultivate thoughtful, giving and grateful young children who in turn give back to their own community.
