EDISON, NJ - Jake Dadika had a game high 30 points as the Chargers from Spotswood High School broke open a close game with a strong fourth quarter in defeating Bishop Ahr by a 63-54 score on Monday night at Bishop Ahr's home court. Dadika's 11 for 11 from the foul line was a key part of the game, as things were close until the latter part of the final stanza.
Neither team had larger than a four-point lead through the first three quarters, as the Chargers held a 19-17 lead at the end of one, and took a 30-27 lead into the locker room at halftime. Bishop Ahr kept things close through the third quarter, and it ended with the Chargers clinging to a 38-37 lead. Dadika led the fourth quarter run that had the Chargers take control of the game. Marlon Hart chipped in with 18 points, as the Chargers ran their record to 9-4.
Spotswood has key games this week, hosting South Plainfield on Wednesday, and visiting Metuchen on Friday.
