Charity Bocce Invitational to Benefit LIVESTRONG at Madison Area YMCA

The 13th Annual Madison Area YMCA Charity Bocce Invitational presented by Investors Bank for the second year, begins Tuesday, September 9, and continues through Friday, October 24.

Hosted by the Forum Club, the event will raise funds for LIVESTRONG at the YMCA, a 12-week no-cost health and wellness program for cancer survivors that will celebrate its first anniversary in September. Other tournament sponsors include Madison Honda, Rocco's Tuscany Bar & Grill, Villa Rose Wine School and for the first time, Technogym.

The Y is actively seeking more sponsors for the event. Calling all Bocce players! No experience necessary. Form a team and sign up to learn how to play this old world game while enjoying friendly competition and camaraderie. Four matches are played each Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday starting at 6:30 p.m. for 45 minutes per match. Adjacent to the Forum Club, the Bocce court is situated in the main parking lot at the far end of the Madison Area YMCA located at 111 Kings Road in Madison.
