Charles “Chugg” L. Bassett, III, PE has earned his Professional Engineer license in the state of Maryland. Mr. Bassett currently holds the PE designation in the states of New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
PE licensure is the engineering profession's highest standard of competence, a symbol of achievement and assurance of quality. For dedicated professional engineers, earning a PE license is just the beginning. Many state licensing boards require that PEs maintain and improve their skills through continuing education courses and other opportunities for professional development.
Mr. Bassett is a Geotechnical Engineer with more than 12 years of experience in the geotechnical engineering and construction industry. He possesses a broad range of skills, including oversight of geotechnical investigations and providing site specific recommendations based on subsurface information; knowledge of infiltration testing methods based on site conditions and state regulations.
He is a Technical Affiliate Member of the Association of Drilled Shaft Contractors and a Member of the American Society of Civil Engineers.
Charles holds both Masters and Bachelor of Science degrees of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He is a resident of Drexel Hill, PA.
