Mayor Molly Whilesmith talks about the role of the Municipal Alliance in Sparta, "Substance abuse knows no socioeconomic boundaries.  We support education in both the schools and the community so that more awareness is brought to this topic.  We want to teach kids to never let their guard down.  One bad decision can end a life and life is too precious to trade for a brief 'high'."
