Chatham Arts Festival Coming in September

CHATHAM, NJ -On Sunday, Sept. 14, the Chatham Area Artisan Guild (CAAG) will host the Chatham Area Festival of Fine Arts & Crafts in the parking area of the Chatham Train Station.

The event will feature 150-plus fine artisans and crafts people from around the tri-state area displaying and selling their original creations.
Some of the items on display and for sale will be original design jewelry and accessories, pottery, wood turning, oil and watercolor paintings, fashion clothing, metal works, photography, glass design, origami, candles, soaps and oils, home baked goods and specialty foods and much more. Come hungry and enjoy the selection of delicious foods being served by the many food vendors that will be there.

Performing live will be Soundbytes, River Of Dreams (Billy Joel tribute), Jamie Lee Gaita and the West Hills Project.

As part of Morris County, Chatham's neighboring towns are Short Hills, Summit, Madison, Harding, New Vernon, Hanover and Florham Park. A very affluent community, this very quaint town of Chatham proved to fit in perfectly to JC's calendar of Fine Arts & Crafts Festivals in upscale areas.

Now in it’s 2nd year, this event is hosted and juried by the Chatham Area Artist Guild (CAAG). In 2013, the first show here turned out to be immensely successful and many exhibitors reported big sales.

Address: Chatham Train Station-30 Fairmount Avenue, Chatham Borough, NJ 07928. Open to the public 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

It’s 4 o’clock in the afternoon and she’s in Kids Central, the Madison Area YMCA’s indoor playground, snuggled up in comfy pajamas because it had been pajama day at Torey J. Sabatini ...
