CHATHAM, NJ - On Oct. 12, the Chatham Borough Police Department, the Chatham Fire Department and the Chatham Borough Office of Emergency Management will be holding an open house.
Members of the community are invited to join us for guided tours of the Police Department, Fire Department and the Office of Emergency Management Emergency Operation Center.
In honor of the 100th anniversary of the Chatham Borough Police Department, the Morris County Sheriff’s Office and the Morris County Park Police will be sending mobile assets to Chatham Borough for residents to learn more about the services that are offered to them as resident of Morris County. At this time, we anticipate resources to include the mobile crime scene processing bus, Sheriff’s Emergency Response Team (SWAT) vehicle and equipment, as well as a K-9 Unit and more.
The Chatham Fire Department’s open house will be the department’s annual fire prevention open house, featuring a visit from Sparky, the fire dog, equipment demonstrations and fire prevention literature.
Please join us in celebrating the efforts of public safety, fire prevention and the 100th anniversary of the Chatham Borough Police Department.
