CHATHAM, NJ - In impressive fashion, the fifth-grade Chatham Youth Football Team beat Irvington 33-0 on Sunday at Cougar Field.

Quarterbacks Max Dinnhaupt and Luke McAloon led the offense for the Cougars. Standouts on defense included lineman Sean Pellegrin with cornerback support from Greg Sutton, who made an impressive hit to break up a potential TD pass in the Chatham red zone.

The linebacker crew of Jack Ryan, Cole Eckert, Sean Macarthur, Andrew Spencer, Ryan Stoffel and Will Agostinelli kept Irvington at bay during the shutout.
"At this level, it's not about winning or losing," Bob Kautzmann, Chatham's head coach said. "It's about focusing on the fundamentals, learning from your mistakes, and improving every week. Last week we played extremely well and lost to the undefeated first place team by 1 TD and this week we won our first game. We are looking forward to our next game against our main rivals, Summit, next Sunday at 10:30 a.m.
