Chatham Softball Tops Morris Hills, 6-2, in First Round of State Tournament

ROCKAWAY, NJ - Anya Raadam pitched the distance and Stephanie Viscovich and Emily Walczyk led a 10-hit attack that sent Chatham to a 6-2 softball victory over Morris Hills on Saturday in the first round of the North Jersey, Section 2, Group 3 tournament.

Raadam scattered nine hits, struck out two and walked two in earning the victory. Viscovich had two hits, including a double, drove in one and scored a run while Walczyk went 2-for-2 with a double, two runs scored and an RBI.

Liz Silveira doubled, had an RBI and a run scored for Chatham, which also received a double and a run scored from Hallie Pellegrin.
