MORRISTOWN, NJ - Senior guard Maddie Hartnett scored a game-high 16 points and senior forward Shannon Donohoe notched a double-double with 12 points and 14 rebounds as Chatham won its seventh straight girls basketball game, 53-35 over Villa Walsh on Tuesday night.

The game was the last court test for Chatham (20-4) before it takes on Montville (23-0), 7 p.m. Friday at the County College of Morris to decide the Morris County Tournament championship.

Junior guard Tess Ford contributed three 3-pointers and 11 points for Chatham, which received three 3-pointers from Hartnett. Carly Frohnapfel added eight points to the offense for the Cougars.

Karin Brett led Villa Walsh (16-8) with 12 points.
