Chatham Wrestlers Edge New Brunswick, 34-30, for Third Straight

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ -  Chatham registered five straight wins by fall as Michael DiBenedetto, Jacob Holman, Stephen Bondurich, Dylan Mulcahy and Brian Weber each pinned their opponent in Chatham's 51-30 wrestling victory over New Brunswick on Sunday.

It was the third straight victory for Chatham (8-8), which defeated Lakewood, 34-30, on Saturday.

Manny Rodriguez pinned his opponent at 113 pounds for Chatham in 5:24 before Brett Cain took his bout at 120 with a pin in 3:14. After Yoscar Diaz won his match for New Brunswick at 126, Chatham reeled off five straight pins to pull away.

DiBenedetto won his 132-pound match in 3:03 and Holman followed at 138 with a fall in 1:48. Bondurich then scored his pin in 2:48 and Mulcahy won at 152 in 3:15. Weber then closed out the streak with a pin in 2:45.

Against Lakewood, Alexander Wilson won by pin in 2:52 at 182 and Taylor Boehmer posted a major decision of 10-1 at 220 pounds to help the Cougars clinch the match.
