Chatham Youth Wrestlers Defeat New Providence, 50-42

CHATHAM, NJ - Teddy Joel won a 1-0 decision at 55 pounds and 60-pounder Darius Khani followed with a pin, sparking Chatham's 50-42 victory over New Providence in a youth wretling match held at Mountainview Gym on Thursday.

Brian Boler (65) then beat his opponent 5-1. The Rohe Brothers John (70) and Michael (75) had consecutive pins. Connor Cortese (80) was bumped up a weight class and defeated his opponent 13-2. Willie O'Neill (85) was also bumped up a weight class and suffered his first loss in doing so. After consecutive losses at 102 and 109, Drew Mitzak (116) beat his opponent 9-0.
