Cherry Blossoms Begin to Bloom Along Main Street Corridor

April 19, 2014 at 3:16 PM

WEST ORANGE, NJ - It's Cherry Blossom time in West Orange and the trees are beginning to bloom all along the Main Street corridor, gracing the area in pink and white canopies.

The photos were all taken on Main Street near Mt. Prospect Avenue and Town Hall. Expect all the trees to be in full bloom this week but keep in mind that cherry blossom season is relatively short. Once the trees bloom, they will remain at their peak for about 2 weeks. It's worth the drive along Main Street to enjoy their beauty.

Take some time to appreciate the beauty of West Orange by viewing the cherry blossoms, hiking through one of the reservations or checking out the forsythias in bloom along Mt. Pleasant Avenue.  Spring has definitely sprung.
