FAIRFIELD, NJ – According to the Fairfield Police Department and www.seatcheck.org 80 percent of all child passenger safety seats are installed incorrectly and seven out of ten children in child safety seats are not properly buckled in.
To circumvent this issue, The Fairfield Police Department in partnership with Target Stores, Safekids Northern New Jersey and Avalon Women’s Health Center are providing a free Child Passenger Safety Seat Event, which is open to the pubic.
The event will take place on Saturday, September 20 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., located in the Target Store Parking Lot at 632 Route 46 East, in Fairfield.
