WARREN, NJ - The Grinch struck Warren but never brought back the gifts.
On Monday Dec. 23 in the evening, sometime after 7 p.m., Christmas gifts were stolen out of a resident's car in the driveway on Birchmont Lane.
The residents returned home after shopping with gifts that they didn't want family members in the house to see. So, they put them in the car and forgot to lock the door.

The next morning, when one of the residents got in the car, the glove box was opened and contents from the box were scattered on the seat. At first, the resident thought maybe other family members had gone in his car. He realized later that afternoon that the gifts and his prescription sunglasses were missing and called police.
Anyone with information should contact the Warren Township Police Department.
