SUMMIT, NJ - A roads micro-paving project -- affect 15 different Hilltop City thoroughfares and two public schools over a span of four days beginning on August 28 -- will begin on August 28, concluding August 31, weather permitting.

During the micro-surfacing process, access to driveways will be prohibited until the application is dry. Residents are instructed to park on neighboring side streets before 7 a.m.

Emergency vehicles will be provided access to roads during the resurfacing process. If it is necessary to leave cars on side streets overnight, call the Summit Police at 908-273-0051 to avoid being ticketed.

K-Lot Closed Through August 31

The K-Lot, which is located behind the CVS on Maple Street, is undergoing repairs and construction -- centering on general improvements and curbing -- and will be closed though August 31. Those wishing to park overnight can only park in available areas of the lot.
