SUMMIT, NJ - The City of Summit is in full preparation mode for the impending storm.
The Department of Public Works has been brining the roads since early this morning, and is ready with salt and plows.
Dial-a-Truck pickup is canceled for Thursday, February 13th.
The Department of Community Services (DCS) early morning hours are canceled for February 13th. The DCS will open at 8:30 a.m, weather permitting. If City Hall is closed, information will be posted on the City website, facebook and twitter, or by calling DCS at 908 / 273-6404.
If canceled due to inclement weather, information on rescheduled recycling and garbage collection pickup will be available in the early morning on the City website, facebook page and twitter.
People are asked to remove all cars from municipal lots on Wednesday evening. It is a City priority to clear lots as soon as possible after a storm.

And once the storm starts, only travel if necessary.
