CKO Kickboxing Coming Soon to Fanwood

April 30, 2013 at 3:08 PM

FANWOOD, NJ - CKO Kickboxing is a class based franchised gym and a new location will be opening up on South Avenue in Fanwood on Tuesday, May 28th.

“When the owner, Steve Johnson, and I were looking for a place we considered several towns,” said Samantha Erlichman, Manager and Head Trainer.  “However, we found Fanwood to be extremely “business friendly” and they made it so easy to get established here.”

Clients will find that hitting the heavy bag at CKO creates resistance which burns more calories and tones the muscles up faster than most fitness kickboxing classes where clients are punching and kicking the air. Muscle and Fitness Magazine rates Kickboxing as the number one fat burner, with over 1,200 calories burned during a one hour class.

“At CKO Kickboxing our workouts are designed for the beginner to the advanced where you will get a FULL BODY workout by punching and kicking a REAL heavy bag mixed with cardio and abdominal exercises,” said Erlichman.

The initial class schedule will offer 23 classes per week ranging from early morning into the evening time. Other services will be offered once the location is up and running such as personal 1 on 1 training, weight lose programs and nutritional counseling packages.

“Classes will be taught by highly motivational and energetic trainers whose number one objective to is help clients reach their fitness goals. The workout will help you lose weight, tone your entire body, eliminate body fat, build strength and endurance. CKO Kickboxing is always upbeat and lively and you will always have that good feeling of music pumping and welcome each person who walks through our doors like a guest in our home.

Although the location has not opened yet, currently CKO is running a Pre-Opening sale special. This is an opportunity available for the first 100 sign-ups to get a membership at a discounted rate which is guaranteed for life and a FREE pair of boxing starter gloves.  Go to
