Clark Police Blotter August 4 - August 11, 2014

The Clark Police Department submitted the following:

August 4, 2014 - In the vicinity of 136 Oak Ridge Road, police arrested James Sbarro, age 54, married, employment status unknown of 357 Willow Way in Clark, New Jersey for DWI.  He was subsequently released pending a court date.  Det. Antonio Manata was the Arresting Officer. Time 11:33

August 4, 2014 - Police took a report of criminal mischief to a motor vehicle that was parked at 191 Gibson Blvd.  The incident is under investigation.  P.O. Miguel Acabou was the Investigating Officer. Time 12:15

August 8, 2104 - In the vicinity of West Grand Street in Elizabeth, New Jersey, police arrested Kasaine Pertet, age 32, single, a bus driver of 1 Windsor Garden Drive in New Windsor, New York for aggravated assault on a police officer, eluding, resisting arrest and credit card theft.  Bail was set at $310,000.00, and he was subsequently transported to the Union County Jail.  Det. Alex Yanes was the Arresting Officer. Time 17:18

August 11, 2014 - In the vicinity of Valley Road, police arrested Eric Arszal, age 37, single, unemployed of 12249 Wheatsheaf Road in Roselle, New Jersey for possession of CDS paraphernalia.  He was also detained on an outstanding warrant from Newark, New Jersey totaling $2,500.00 and was subsequently released on his own recognizance on both the Newark and Clark charges pending court dates.  Also arrested was Christopher Regent, age 27, single, unemployed of 17 Autumn Court in Colonia, New Jersey for possession of CDS and possession of CDS paraphernalia.  He was also detained on outstanding warrants from Newark and Irvington, New Jersey totaling $700.00 for contempt of court.  He was released on the Clark charges pending a court date and subsequently  turned over to the Irvington Police Department on their warrant.  P.O. Ricardo Oliveira and P.O. Brian Soos were the Arresting Officers. Time 00:16
