CLARK, NJ — The Clark Police Department is searching for a red or maroon 1992-2004 Chevy S-10 or GMS Sonoma suspected to have been involved in the hit-and-run death of 82-year-old James Leinbach on Tuesday morning.

According to police officials, the vehicle was spotted during a review of surveillance video in the area.

“The vehicle should have damage to the passenger-side front fender, antenna and side-view mirror,” said police in a recent Facebook post to the community. They have also asked residents to spread the word about this search.

The crash happened at 6:04 a.m., said Union County acting Prosecutor Lyndsay V. Ruotolo in a press release.
