College Club Launches 50th Edition of Community Calendar

SCOTCH PLAINS/FANWOOD, NJ The College Club of Fanwood-Scotch Plains has just published its 50th edition of the Community Date Calendar.  This calendar contains all of the important dates in both towns, including school and community functions, as well as contact information for schools, houses of worship, hotlines and local advertisers.

The calendars cost $10.00 each and are available at the following locations:  Scotch Plains Library, Fanwood Library, Norman's Hallmark Store, Young's Paint & Varnish, Apple Blossom Florist, Double Dipper, Di Francesco Realty.

Sales of the calendar is one of the biggest fund-raisers for scholarships for women high school graduates and college attendees in Fanwood and Scotch Plains.  This year the Club awarded $31,000 in scholarships to 12 deserving women.
