Colmar Couple Charged With Felony, Misdemeanor Theft from Walmart

A Colmar couple are charged with retail theft after they allegedly admitted to Hilltown Township Police of committing numerous thefts at Walmart on Bethlehem Pike.
 
Janice Ward, 52, and John Roman, 56, both of the 700 block of Bethlehem Pike, Hatfield Township, were charged with felony retail theft and misdemeanor retail theft, police said.
 
 
On June 12, at 7:13 p.m., police responded to Walmart for a retail theft report. An investigation determined that Ward and Roman had allegedly taken numerous items from the store, police said.
 
The pair allegedly concealed the items and passed through all points of retail sales, police said. 
 
When questioned, they each allegedly confessed to retail thefts on prior occasions, police said.
