ROXBURY, NJ - The cracks and potholes on Commerce Boulevard near the Roxbury Mall - a pet peeve of shoppers who care about their vehicles' wheel alignments - will soon be a bad memory. The heavily-traveled thoroughfare is scheduled for repaving next week, said the township today.

The 2,000-foot road, which flanks the western edge of the mall and connects Route 10 to Righter Road, is one of six roads in Succasunna to be torn up and repaved, said Roxbury Road Department Foreman Kevin Farley. The work will be done by Tilcon under contract, he said.

"We're doing the entrance to The Meadows as well, so the (Commerce Boulevard) work doesn't just stop at Righter," Farley said. The township said Commerce Boulevard should be finished by Thursday.

Simultaneously, Tilcon will be doing similar asphalt milling and resurfacing of Cornhollow Road, Harrison Road, Deer Lane, Read Court, Gail Drive and Paul Drive, Farley said.
