LIVINGSTON, NJ – Livingston Public Schools has announced two important meetings to be held for the community. The public is invited to a presentation on the Common Core and to a public hearing on the spending plan for Livingston Public Schools. In addition, according to LPS, a Subscription Busing Application for LPS students who are not eligible for free busing is now available.
Common Core Information Session to be Held - A lesson on the new Common Core will be presented for Livingston parents on Wednesday, May 7, from 7:00 9:00 p.m. at Heritage Middle School. The Common Core is a set of standards—the skills that students must master to be prepared for college by the time they graduate. The presentation in May will focus on English Language Arts for Grades K-8. It is being presented by the Parent Academy and the Office of Curriculum and Instruction. School Budget Public Hearing to be Held - A public hearing on the spending plan for Livingston Public Schools will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, April 28 at Collins Elementary School.

Subscription Busing Application Available - Subscription busing is available on a lottery basis for LPS students who are not eligible for free busing. Applications are due June 30. Click HERE for the application.
