EDISON, NJ – Students from Edison and faculty in the Middlesex County College Natural Sciences Department have created a community garden, located on the side of Main Hall on the Edison campus.

They created the garden, which was funded by a grant from the MCC Retail Services Corporation, during the spring semester. The garden uses rainwater collected in a rain barrel to water the vegetables and herbs. Items currently blooming are blueberries, asparagus and assorted herbs.
