MORRIS TOWNSHIP, NJ - Ginty and Streeter Pools in Morris Township have temporarily closed, announced township officials. Both pools do not have sufficient electrical power to operate filtraion and water treatment systems, they said.

In a message to members, the recreation department said "we have received telephone notices from JCP&L that power has been restored, however our systems require 3-Phase electrical power and this level of service has not been restored at either pool. Both pools must remain closed until full electrical power is restored and we are able re-activate filters and water disinfection systems. Unfortunately we are unable to provide any estimate of reopening time this coming weekend".
