Concert and Movie on Summit's Green July 8

Forget “Rockin’ the Green!”  Let’s “Come Together” and “Twist and Shout” on Summit’s Village Green this Tuesday, July 8th.  Trust us… you don’t want to be “The Fool on the Hill” that misses out on this event night.

For the first time ever in DCP history, a concert and movie will play on Summit’s Village Green as part of the first night of the popular Hot Summer Nights Concert Series.  Event-goers can look forward to enjoying all of their favorite Beatles hits as Beatlemania Again takes the stage this Tuesday night, July 8th beginning at 7:00 PM.  Following the concert, simply turn your chair and enjoy a special showing of A Hard Day’s Night up on the big screen.

The Hot Summer Nights Concert Series is a free concert series presented by the Summit Department of Community Programs (DCP), running every Tuesday night on Summit’s Village Green, located directly across from the Summit train station.  In honor of 50 years of the Beatles coming to America, the Summit DCP has created a night to remember with this “double header” featuring one of the best Beatles tribute bands on the East Coast, followed by the popular movie, A Hard Day’s Night which will be hosted by SummitSoundz Entertainment.

Break out all of your old Beatles fan memorabilia and join the Summit DCP tomorrow night on Summit’s Village Green, located at 356 Broad Street.   Head down “The Long and Winding Road” and “Help!” us celebrate 50 years of Beatles music.
