"Congratulations West Orange Graduate" Lawn Signs Proceeds to Benefit Project Graduation

May 11, 2014 at 6:56 PM

WEST ORANGE, NJ - June is close at hand and so are the plenitudes of graduations. Pre-school, Kindergarten, Fifth grade, Eighth Grade, High School, and college. West Orange residents can celebrate all their graduates and support Project Graduation with the purchase of their wildly popular "Congratulations, Graduate' Lawn Sign.

Project Graduation provides West Orange High School Seniors with a special final night together following their graduation, this year on June 19. The event is held at the Funplex in East Hanover and features organized, adult-supervised and alcohol-free activities. The event begins directly after graduation and lasts into the early morning hours.  Chaperones include parents and teachers in the West Orange school community.

The event is pretty expensive to run. It costs approximately $70 per student and Project Graduation is continually fundraising to ensure that future graduating seniors will have their special night. Without the support of parents and the community, Project Graduation cannot guarantee the event in the coming years.

Waze.

Ever since bridge repair closed a major thoroughfare near my house, the traffic on my sleepy street has increased dramatically.  And it is not by accident that commuters have figured out ...
